We are pleased to share with you our new home/academy lending library.  To support families with sharing a book at home, we have created a lending library. Children can choose a book to take home and then return it. Once returned, the books will be stored safely for 72 hours and then put back onto the shelves for someone else to enjoy.  There are a selection of books to choose from including popular stories, dual language texts and information books.  We hope you enjoy sharing books with your children at home. 

Michelle’s class are going to be our librarians and they will keep a record of what books have gone home and when they have been returned.  Your child will be able to borrow another book once they have enjoyed and returned the one they have.  We have made a social story to help the children understand that the book needs to come back to school once they have finished sharing it with you.  If you would like a copy of the social story, you can download this below or ring the office and they will send a paper copy home.
