Ofsted Reports

As you are aware, Ofsted visited the academy on the 18th and 19th January 2023. We are delighted to inform you that the outcome was good in all areas.

As you will see from the full report, the inspection team celebrated the highly inclusive school environment and the ambition we have for all pupils.  The academy was praised for its high expectations and the secure relationships built between staff and pupils.  They also highlighted that pupils behave well, feel safe and the academy is calm.  All of this, and more, enables pupils to ‘develop their understanding securely.’

Within the report, there is only one area identified within the section on ‘what does the school need to do to improve?’, and this is focused on improving attendance rates for those pupils who are persistently absent.  However, it was noted by the inspection team that the academy already has strong systems in place to support attendance and that ‘most pupils attend well because of leaders ’highly effective work.’

The report is available below. If you require a paper copy of the report, please contact the academy office and we will be happy to print one for you.

We hope you enjoy reading the full report and celebrating with us the positive recognition from Ofsted for the provision, the pupils and for the hard work of the staff and leaders.
