Home-Start Teesside offers befriending support along with practical and emotional advice in the homes of families who are having difficulties managing parenting for a variety of different reasons.

It may be that parents are experiencing:

  • Poor mental or physical health
  • Postnatal depression
  • Bereavement
  • Financial worries
  • Loneliness and isolation
  • Multiple births
  • First time parent
  • Have a child with additional needs
