Hartlepool Power Station Visit Discovery

On Friday 1st May, our Year 7, 8 and 9 pupils had a visit from staff who work at Hartlepool Powerstation. They challenged the pupils to design and make their own Pylons using K’nex. Once the models were made, they were tested to make sure it stood up to the wind test. All the pupils really enjoyed this experience, learning about the way that Electricity is made and being able to create their own models.
