Look what Maddi’s class have been doing this week.

This term in Maddi’s Class, we have been learning about plants and growing, we have created some lovely flower paintings and lots of colourful art work. Our story has been the ‘The Very Hungry Caterpillar’ and we have enjoyed exploring the hungry caterpillar food and fruit! We have made jelly caterpillars and used a variety of things such as ice cream cones and potatoes to paint and print with!

The children are developing their independence skills so well, with some now taking their coats off when they come in and putting them on their pegs, and they have all made amazing progress with their communication skills.

We still have lots of exciting things to explore, including growing our own plants with our next story ‘Jack and the Beanstalk’ and we are really looking forward to it!
