Sophie’s Class

his half term, Sophie’s class has been learning all about the Ancient Greeks. We have explored Greek temples and recreated them using building blocks. We also learned about Greek philosophers such as Aristotle and discovered how he liked to bring order to nature and animals.

We read the story of Theseus and the Minotaur and created our own shields and boats inspired by the story.

As part of our artwork, we have been learning about Jackson Pollock. We explored the abstract art he created and developed our own pieces using a range of different brushes and painting techniques.
