It has been a busy first week back at Discovery for Year 9 after the Easter holidays. Year 9s have been practising their performance for the Celebration Event next week! They plan on using drums, keyboards and chime bells to play an African piece of music. For some of our students, this will be the first time performing in front of parents, which is really exciting. As well as this, students have enjoyed some outdoor learning in the sunshine, practising their athletics skills in PE. Pupils have really enjoyed practising the javelin, discus, and shot put, as well as taking part in relay racing.

The child accident prevention trust have created a parent support pack which supports parents and carers in managing potential accidents that may occur.
